The chicken legs and pork can be prepared and baked ahead of time. Simply line a baking dish with the chicken legs and pour bbq sauce right over the chicken legs, add a small amount of water to the baking dish to assure moist, tender chicken. Cover with foil and bake in your over at 325 for about an hour and half. The same with the pork. Slice pork loin into thin slices, layer bottom of baking dish. Pour bbq sauce over the pork, adding water to the pan as well. Cover with foil and bake along with the chicken legs. Check often to be sure there is still water in the pan. You may need to add water during baking. For the potato salad a very simple salad is always best, as your guests will have varied tastes. The following recipe is mild and very tasty. Boil potatoes, drain and cool. The amount you cook will depend upon the amount of guests. For a medium bowl, cook about 8 russet potatoes. While the potatoes are cooking, boil eggs. You will need about 6 eggs for this size. After both the potatoes and eggs are cooled, peel both and dice into a medium sized bowl. Add mayonaise (not Miracle Whip or salad dressing) to the desired consistency. It may take a little more than a cup. Now add about two tablespoons of mustard. Salt and pepper and add a few shakes of the onion flakes. Stir this all together and refrigerate. If you want, you can boil 8 eggs, saving two to garnish with. Simply slice the eggs with an egg slicer and layer the top of your salad. Sprinkle a small amount of paprika and you have a delicious salad to be proud of. Even if you don't normally make salads, this is an easy to make recipe that will recieve great reviews! Slice your watermelon into managable pieces and add small grape clusters. Finally, complete your meal with breadsticks. Bakeries have wonderful flavors of breadsticks. Find a fun basket, line it with a cloth napkin and add the breadsticks. What a great and simple meal to serve at your next gathering! Flavored ice tea will compliment this meal. Forego the pop, the kids don't need all the sugar!
